The website will provide updates from the project team in regards to the refurbishment of the site, covering programme, logistics and general works updates. Alongside this, information will be provided on Q&A sessions that will be held for local residents and businesses.

We are keen to actively engage with local stakeholders ensuring they are kept informed of progress. We also want to ensure any disruption is minimised so will be using this website to upload our regular newsletters every 4-6 weeks.

What are we doing?

In 2021, Camden Council granted planning permission for the building at 13-17 Fitzroy Street to be refurbished and reconfigured. The works will include the following:

Two storey extension to the west elevation of the building.

The existing clad façade will be retained and refurbished where required, with new cladding and glazing to the new extension and atrium area.

New primary entrance on Fitzroy Street, providing level access from the street.

The roof plant will be replaced, and new roof walkways and external roof terrace will be created.

The internal office, toilets and stair core areas are to be fitted out with new mechanical and electrical services and finishes.

The existing atrium area will be lowered, with walkway bridges and a new internal staircase provided, serving lower ground up to the 4th floor.

These works will deliver additional office space whilst modernising the entire building, bringing it in line with the needs and requirements of a modern office.
